Effective date: January 1, 2026
By accessing the Dedham Insulation website at dedhaminsulation.com, contacting us, or engaging us to perform services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or engage our services. These terms apply to all visitors, customers, and anyone who interacts with Dedham Insulation.
Dedham Insulation provides residential and commercial insulation services, including but not limited to spray foam insulation, attic insulation, blown-in insulation, crawl space insulation, basement insulation, wall insulation, air sealing, vapor barrier installation, and related services. We serve properties in Dedham, Massachusetts and surrounding communities. All services are subject to site suitability, scope agreement, and availability.
Written estimates provided by Dedham Insulation are valid for 30 days from the date issued unless otherwise stated. Estimates are based on a visual inspection of the property and the scope discussed at the time of the assessment.
If conditions discovered during the project differ materially from those assessed during the estimate - such as hidden moisture damage, structural issues, or access restrictions not previously disclosed - we will notify you and obtain written approval before proceeding with any additional work or cost.
All prices are in U.S. dollars. Verbal quotes are non-binding. Only written, signed estimates constitute a price commitment.
Appointments are scheduled by mutual agreement. We will make every reasonable effort to arrive on time and complete work within the agreed timeframe. Delays caused by weather, permit processing, or factors outside our control do not constitute a breach of these terms.
If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please notify us at least 48 hours in advance. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours notice may result in a rescheduling fee, which we will communicate to you in advance. Emergency cancellations due to circumstances beyond your control will be handled at our discretion on a case-by-case basis.
We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a job if site conditions are unsafe, if access to the work area is not provided, or if required permits have not been obtained.
Payment terms will be specified in your written estimate or invoice. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, a deposit may be required before work begins on larger projects. The remaining balance is due upon satisfactory completion of the work unless alternative payment terms have been agreed in writing.
Accepted payment methods will be communicated at the time of estimate. Late payments may be subject to a late fee as specified in your invoice. Accounts unpaid after 30 days may be referred to a collections process.
If you are participating in a rebate program such as Mass Save, you remain responsible for the full invoice amount. Rebates are between you and the program administrator; we do not guarantee rebate approval or amounts.
You agree to:
Dedham Insulation warrants that all work will be performed in a workmanlike manner using materials appropriate for the scope of work. Any specific product warranties are those provided by the manufacturer and are passed through to you; we do not extend or modify manufacturer warranties.
Our workmanship warranty covers defects in installation directly caused by our crew. It does not cover damage caused by events outside our control, including water intrusion from roofing or foundation failures not related to our work, pest activity, structural movement, unauthorized modifications to installed materials, or damage caused by failure to follow re-entry or safety instructions.
EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY STATED ABOVE, ALL SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT OUR SERVICES WILL MEET ANY SPECIFIC ENERGY SAVINGS TARGET OR PERFORMANCE STANDARD UNLESS EXPRESSLY AGREED IN WRITING.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Dedham Insulation and its owners, employees, and subcontractors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services or your reliance on information provided on our website.
In no event shall our total liability for any claim related to a specific project exceed the amount you actually paid us for that project. This limitation applies regardless of the theory of liability - contract, tort, statute, or otherwise.
Where a building permit is required for insulation work under Massachusetts law or local Dedham regulations, we will inform you and, where it is standard practice for the type of work, pull the required permit on your behalf. You are responsible for ensuring that your property is in a condition that allows us to obtain required permits. If we are unable to obtain a permit due to conditions on your property, we may suspend work until the issue is resolved.

You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our website content without our express written permission.
If you have a concern or complaint about our services, please contact us directly at info@dedhaminsulation.com or (781) 410-0716. We will make every reasonable effort to resolve the issue promptly and fairly.
If a dispute cannot be resolved directly, both parties agree to attempt good-faith mediation before initiating formal legal proceedings. Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking emergency injunctive relief from a court of competent jurisdiction.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action arising under these terms shall be brought exclusively in the courts of Massachusetts.
We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted to this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
